Feed My Hungry People, Inc. provides support for the
Northern
Arizona Food Bank (NAFB) which was established in 1986
to provide supplemental nutrition and hunger relief to
impoverished individuals and families residing in Northern
Arizona. Our organization formally focused on
international hunger relief and was known as Feed My People
International, LTD. Recently, we have changed our name and
our focus to deal with issues here at home in America due to the
overwhelming need that has presented itself from the current
economic outlook in our country. We now primarily focus on
hardship in Arizona and the Southwest, as well as providing
essential disaster relief support nationally when needed.
 Since the inception of our Food Bank, we have grown from serving
a few hundred individual's and family's needs, to providing
supplemental nutrition and life's essentials to thousands and
thousands of needy families each month. In conjunction
with serving the needs of Northern Arizona's most needy families
and individuals, our Food Bank has also become a major
participant in the transportation and distribution of food for
other Arizona food banks, soup kitchens, pantries, chapter
houses, senior centers, schools, churches, outreach projects,
and women's shelters throughout Northern Arizona.
Our organization also assists community recreational and
cultural activities such as the Flagstaff Special Olympics and
National Youth Sports Program. Additionally, we have assisted in
food distribution to other states across the country on an as
needed basis for disaster relief.
